Four cell 80 m long culvert extensively repaired and protected including hydro demolition, guniting, sacrificial anode installation and application of an epoxy coating for abrasion resistance.

Existing joints in the dam wall were cleaned, repaired and then resealed to prevent leakage inside the structure. All work was carried out using rope access.

The team removed the deteriorated concrete, prepared the repair areas including any steel replacement.formed up and poured a fluid microconcrete; then finished off using a hand applied high-build repair mortar.

Remedial works to this small but busy bridge and two cell culvert included concrete repairs, epoxy mortar repairs for abrasion resistance, joint crack sealing and application of a protective coating.

Prior to construction of a new road bridge, the SWSOOS (sewer structure) had to be protected under the bridge sections. Works involved water blasting, application of Vandex mortar followed by a repair mortar to a thickness of 25 mm, to provide longer term protection to the three external faces of the sewer.
