Four cell 80 m long culvert extensively repaired
and protected including hydro demolition, guniting, sacrificial anode
installation and application of an epoxy coating for abrasion resistance. |

Existing
joints in the dam wall were cleaned, repaired and then resealed to prevent
leakage inside the structure. All work was carried out using rope access. |

The team removed the deteriorated
concrete, prepared the repair areas including any steel replacement.formed
up and poured a fluid microconcrete; then finished off using a hand applied
high-build repair mortar. |

Remedial works to this small
but busy bridge and two cell culvert included concrete repairs, epoxy
mortar repairs for abrasion resistance, joint crack sealing and application
of a protective coating. |

Prior to construction of a new
road bridge, the SWSOOS (sewer structure) had to be protected under the
bridge sections. Works involved water blasting, application of Vandex
mortar followed by a repair mortar to a thickness of 25 mm, to provide
longer term protection to the three external faces of the sewer. |
