Heritage building 10 storeys
high situated in Martin Place. Three elevations fully restored including
sandstone, lead, concrete repair and protection. Fully scaffolded over
structural hoarding. Also swing stage access. |

This 100 m high office building
needed extensive concrete repair and application of over 25,000 m²
of protective coating, all off swing stages. Casefile also presents

Extensive concrete repairs,
joint sealing and protective coatings applied in the refurbishment of
the building facades. Repairs included sacrificial anodes. Casefile

installed to this high security building. Original membrane removed. Materials

Over time, all facades had concrete repairs, and windows re-sealed
with high performance joint sealant. |

After waterblasting, the team applied protective
membrane coating to all concrete. then membraned a flat level roof and
replaced and painted missing and deteriorated metalwork. They cleaned
the roof area pathway, membraned the gutter and painted the concrete.

The team covered the existing membrane in
a fleece-backed membrane, applied a mineral finish membrane, then they
laid the new membrane up to the new structure; also provided an internal
lining before installation of fire and mechanical services. Casefile

Old brick facade fully renovated
and repaired including crack stitching, rebuilding and concrete repairs
to window heads and protective coatings. Casefile also presents page

Mechanically fix stainless steel
mesh to the concrete and trowel on initial skim coat. Add a second build
coat before applying render, then exposing the aggregated fill to match
the existing surface. Also renovate planter box at the top of the structure
using a torch-on membrane. |
