The present director team together boasts over 40 years experience in senior posts within the structural remediation and related industries.

Concrete repair know-how

This experience specifically includes first-hand knowledge of concrete repair, coating, membranes, retrofit strengthening (exotics), cathodic protection and other electrochemical protection systems, strengthening by external application, post tensioning and augmentation, heritage restoration works and developing and introducing cementitious products and placement systems for the construction and mining industries.

Past service with concrete repair specialists

Much of this has been gained in positions up to top management in the service of firms including Savcor ART, Finn International, Quadrant Building Services. Andersal Engineering, Concrete Constructions, Fosroc/Parbury Technologies and Fosroc International.

Qualifications in concrete repair and related skills

And the directors collectively command a comprehensive range of qualifications. These range from the trades and applied sciences such as carpenter, licensed builder, chartered building professional, site engineer and project manager to BA, BE (Civil) B App Sc. (Building). Remarkably, more than once the applied skills and academic qualifications reside in the same director’s portfolio, bringing to bear the very powerful combination of theory and practice on the solution of customer’s problems.

Associations

The directors have served on the executive of the Australian Concrete Repair Association and the Australian Institute of Building and also served on he NSW branch committe of the Australasian Corrosion Association. Preservation Technologies is a member of ACRA, ACA and Master Builders Association.
